we need to have a board that is only visible to old school/hardcore members.  I think a good cut off point would be 295 posts.  More than 295 posts, you're in.

I considered doing this a few times but  I don't think it would be good for FOT health, in fact i think it would probably sound the death knell.
I'm not saying the older posters are neccesarily the good posters, but a lot of them are just because they are more knowledgable about the show and each other. If they are making those posts in their own private forum then it just makes the generally viewable forum less appealing to new members.
People come and go, as He Who Cannot Be Named pointed out in a roundabout way a few weeks ago, eventually we'd just peter out.

The arcade shall return, I was doing stuff to the forum last week when my house flooded and the internet was out until today. I refrained from posting about it in case you kids ran wild and had a party in here while I was gone.
