Break a leg, JJ!
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

This is a little animated short that I originally did in 2002, and finally got around to re-editing. Still really rough, but I don't feel like waiting another 50+ hours to render everything again.

Tuesdae.

I don't like it.

I LOVE IT!

Ironically it took me a while to get to this because I was only near work computers for the last few days.

I play in a band called "Leonids".

You can hear some home recordings at www.myspace.com/leonidsmusic .

If you live in Toronto we are playing December 12th at the Boat.

Lets hang out, for real this time.

One of the people I was in the improv class with posted our stuff on youtube.  This picks up in the halfway point of our 20 minute "set" or whatever you call it. I'm the guy with the sideburns, nasally voice, tight pants and plaid shirt.  My shining moment of brilliance is halfway through.

I wish I had a flier, but I hope no one minds a quick promo for my boyfriend's band's upcoming mini-tour:He drums for a band called Mathematicians:http://www.myspace.com/mathematicians and they're touring with my friend's band, Rasputina: www.rasputina.com. His band plays synthy dance punk, her band plays gothy-psycho-folk cello rock music. It's  a weird bill, but awesome in it's own way. I'm trying to let as many people know though so they'll come out--- and help us both with our christmas  budget. I'm probably going along on this one to do merchandise.

This is their tour schedule:
Dec 9, 2007 Sunday  8:00 PM  9:30 Club    Washington, DC

Dec 10, 2007 Monday 7:00 PM Casbah @ Tremont Music Hall    Charlotte, NC

Dec 11, 2007 Tuesday    8:00 PM    Cat's Cradle    Carrboro, NC

Dec 12, 2007 Wednesday    8:00 PM    Alley Katz    Richmond, VA
Dec 13, 2007 Thursday    7:00 PM    Rex Theater    Pittsburgh, PA

Holy Babefest, Batman! I gotta sign up for one of these 'improv classes'.

Beth: that's what this thread is for!

John Junk: very funny.  "I want the garment" was indeed a great moment.

If anyone is in Williamsburg and can fit some theater in between the kickball and the skiing, I wrote a short adaptation of A Christmas Carol for The Brick Theater's Baby Jesus One-Act Jubilee.  This is the blurb:

A CHRISTMAS CAROL
by Jason Grote, directed by Shannon Sindelar
Seven years have passed since Marley's Christmas death, and Scrooge has not changed a bit. But, on this particular Christmas, the shrimp boats lower their nets. Marley pushes his face against hers. She screams and flees back to Scrooge; on her cheek stands out in red the marks of two rows of teeth.

Fun!
