Hit the Kinkos, holmes. I'll do it.

Woohoo!  I'll see what I can do.  Thanks!  It may have to be double-sided. Is that okay?

Link us to the first 5000 words or whatever. I may want to be brutally honest on a massive scale.

http://jonathanebloom.com/wordpress/?page_id=10  Check out the link on that page that says “Hell Is Above Us: The Epic Race to the Top of Fumu, the World’s Tallest Mountain.”

A little context. It is an adventure story but also a satire of outdoor adventure books like "Annapurna" and the like. Should read like non-fiction.  It is also supposed to be written by a British academic in the 1950's named Kenneth Tersely.  Enjoy!

I await your gorilla-sized honesty with great excitement.

I interviewed Chris Ethridge, a founding member (and original bassist) for the Flying Burrito Brothers for my agency's radio show.

(Ethridge is in back row, next to Parsons)

He's on Guilded Palace of Sin and co-wrote a couple of songs with Gram Parsons. He later went on to tour with Willie Nelson for several years and played on a countless number of 70s West Coast folk and rock records, including early Randy Newman, Linda Rondstadt, Ry Cooder, etc. He's now back living in his hometown of Meridian, Mississippi.

Yeah, I used to write for it, and I guess technically I still do, but it's a lot of work for very little money and (beyond the reciprocal blog link) no credit.

I haven't read it yet but I do have this to say:  "You are sounding cynical, Benjamin."

I haven't read it yet but I do have this to say:  "You are sounding cynical, Benjamin."

It was actually meant to encourage civic duty, which I see as severely lacking in America today.

Beautiful, Ben.

Thank you!

This is my friend, Jose.

He lives in Tanzania. I'm raising money to send him to safari guide school so he can provide for his little sisters and widowed mother.  For the whole story check out my site.

Give what you can.  It means the world to me.  You all are such a great group of people I'd be remiss to not reach out to you.
Asante Sana (thank you very much)

I've done gone and written a song and made a video about Ireland's current economic meltdown through the medium of a jaunty Christmas song.
