That was great, Dan! I always thought the MST3K people would be an interesting experiment to see how they mix with Tom and the Best Show.

Thanks so much. I actually interviewed Bill Corbett a couple of years back and suggested Tom as a guest riffer. He knew the Best Show and had great things to say about Tom. So who knows!

Some of y'all are already aware of it, but I wanted to share a link to a podcast I'm doing with my friend Trevor called "Ramblin': The Podcast." Learn & hear more here: http://www.RamblinPodcast.com.

This is my friend, Jose.

He lives in Tanzania. I'm raising money to send him to safari guide school so he can provide for his little sisters and widowed mother.  For the whole story check out my site.

Give what you can.  It means the world to me.  You all are such a great group of people I'd be remiss to not reach out to you.
Asante Sana (thank you very much)
Joel

Link fixed - Thanks, Auntie C.

Hey there.  I'm trying to pull together email addresses from everyone who helped me out with this last year.  A number of FOTs pitched in.  I just sent out an email, but I don't have everyone's current email addresses that donated.  If you donated, please send me your current email in a PM.

Thanks again!
Joel

My self-published book, Hell Is Above Us, is now available in paperback form!

You can get it on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/Hell-Is-Above-Us-Mountain/dp/0615509347/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1331216752&sr=1-4

But if you detest Amazon like a sickness, you can get it for a little more on Lulu here: http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/hell-is-above-us-the-epic-race-to-the-top-of-fumu-the-world%E2%80%99s-tallest-mountain/18930589?productTrackingContext=search_results/search_shelf/center/1

It is a fun book and I am very proud of it.

Please read, enjoy, and help out a fellow FOT by spreading the word!

Best,
JfM

This Saturday at 7:30pm, there will be a dramatic reading of my book "Hell Is Above Us" at Words Bookstore in Maplewood, NJ.

I would love to see some friendly FOT faces there.  It should be fun, and afterwards we will all go out for food and drinks.

Hiya FOTs! I wanted to see if I could get some of your help here. I've been trying to pitch this show around called Evil Robin Hood. Amazon Studios has a pretty cool thing where they pick a few of the more promising series ideas and give the creator some cashola to make a pilot. Check out the script and pitch bible here for Evil Robin Hood!:

http://studios.amazon.com/projects/13724

And guess who helped?! Brett Davis, comedy performer/writer and long-time Best Show caller! (Uh, MC Steinberg anyone?)

So, if you like the idea, or hate the idea but like us, and you have an account with Amazon, would you be so kind as to rate the idea (5 stars preferably) and leave a comment on that page? Every bit of attention helps!
Thanks in advance FOTs!

I finished this portrait of young Nick Cave for a group show in Brooklyn:

Since this is a holiday show, the interim title is Merry Christmas from Nick Cave, though assuming it goes unsold, I reserve the right to change that afterwards..
