Swiss, that is great!

It's like you've perfectly captured this moment:

After a long month at the recording studio, the group spends some quality time together in Monte Carlo. The mood is festive, and after a few bottles of Chateau Margaux, Agnetha admits that "...we never thought you would be able to hit that D-major F#7 staccato turnaround in the second verse. Bjorn had even bet me his Lotus-7 on it!!!"

there's a pause, and Tom replies: "What can I say? I'm the KID!"

the room erupts in laughter.

The shot then freeze-frames, and the credits roll on another great tour video.

I'm a fan of all the decisions the ABBA box has made over the past few weeks.

Keep it up, ABBA Box!

Well those are not albums you really want to revisit

Nice work, Swissmiss.  You picked the perfect photo of Abba for your composite.  The sight lines are spot on; they really do look like they are trained on Tom.

Is there a Zappa box?  And when will it throw down with the Abba box?

I disagree. I love my David Bowie box.

EDIT: I didn't realize there was a link until just now. There's ANOTHER David Bowie box?  I know what I want for Christmas.

EDIT 2: Pitchfork needs a hug or something.

Isn't that Bowie box something like having an 80s Neil Young box? You know, all the albums Ronald Thomas Clontle has heard.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I don't know. I think Heathen is an awesome album, people always knock it.
I love David Bowie's earlier stuff more... but I guess my David Bowie obsessiveness might just cancel that out. And I'm eager to hear the remixes. I feel like his later songs are the ones that are more remixable anyway.

Plus (and here's my shallow side) it's so pretty!

I wouldn't call Tin Machine a debacle.  I actually consider it the best stuff he's done since Scary Monsters.

I saw him do 'Hallo Spaceboy' at the Brit Awards in 1996 - I think - and thought "this is the coolest shit ever".
"Son, there's a thin line between crazed and rabid"
