Is there a Zappa box?  And when will it throw down with the Abba box?

i think there was a live box.... like it was a bunch of bootlegs that zappa just straight reissued as actual recordings, circa late 80s/early 90s?

yeah, "Beat The Boots" in the early 90s. Early Neil Young Live Bootlegs are pretty  funny - the guy drops a lot of clams on stage.  With regard to Bowie, I too love his early stuff, Hunky Dory is probably my favorite.  He did a song called "Little Wonder" in the late 90s that I absolutely adore - so addictive.

Hunky Dory is an awesome early album, but I think Low is my favorite as far as his early stuff.

The Sound+Vision boxed set (the bowie boxed set that spans his career from the very early days to the early ninties) has amazing early demo tracks on it as well, from back when he was davy jones. It's really worth getting, there's some amazing stuff on there. But I'm going to get this new one as well, because I have faith it won't disappoint.

Yes, Beth, Low is a great album.  I like the Low, Lodger, Heroes Eno collaborations period.  Tom has actually played "Boys Keep Swinging" from Lodger, which is a great song.  I love Eno's rock albums a lot too - Here Come The Warm Jets, Taking Tiger By Strategy, Another Green World and Before and After Science.  Hearing Here Come The Warm Jets reminds me of a certain happy period in my life when I first listened to it.  Well, now I'm going to have to go put it on. Geez, you people.  :)

boys keep swinging is awesome. eno is amazing too, i don't know whether i prefer his glam period or his minimal period. both are good at different times. and i love him with roxy music. "for your pleasure" is glam rock at it's finest.

Here Come the Warm Jets is a great album. Needles In the Camel's Eye is one of those songs that affects me emotionally without my really understanding why.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.
