People in their +forties showing off their tats at every possible moment... stop it. Yes I'm looking at you Billy Bob, wearing a sleeveless shirt on Conan the other night.

I always wonder aboot this whole generation of women with the lower back tats

explain that to the grand kiddies 30 yrs from now

I'll have no problem explaining my tattoosies to my kids or grand kids. I'm pretty sure 50% of all people will have them by then.

Scientology has made her buff.

Janeane is not a Scientologist.  She supported a program that helped detoxify 9/11 rescue workers that was in someway connected to Scientology.

I happen to love both of my tattoos and can't imagine regretting them any time soon.  That said, it's really not so much my future grandkids I worry about having to explain them to as it is my grandparents.  They've already seen the little star on my wrist and heartily disapproved, so I've made a point of wearing a sweater to their house, to cover up the bird & flowers on my right bicep.

Furthermore, IMHO:  Girls with tattoos?  Totally hot.  Dudes with tattoos, on the other hand?  Not so much.

Well, she's shown a lot of support for their programs:

Hey, I love my ink (that's what cool kids call em), I just hope I don't turn into one of those people who need to show them off all the time. Like the dude you see walking down the street with a sleeveless shirt when it's freezing outside. I'm more of a cover-them-up, no-forearms, Japanese-businessman-style type of guy.

argh. this subject makes me lose sleep at night. Rocker-style tattoos on the ladies? OF COURSE it's hot. I hate myself for liking them. In fact, I don't think that I have ever admitted in a public forum that I do like them, becausetheyaresofuckinglame. By that, I mean they are just so EASY. like instant ROCK CRED. whoa, did that full sleeve come free with a coupon from the Von Dutch t-shirt shop? Or maybe i'm just jealous because I would never have the balls to ink myself with more than a quarter-sized little smiley face on my shoulder.

As you can see, I struggle with this issue.

I have come to this conclusion though: if you are under the age of 30, and have full sleeves: you are a fucking poser. whooooops!

And I will stand by that statement until the end. A sleeve should represent decades of experience, not months.

don't even get me started on lower back tattoos. at this point, I've just filed them under the category "Not Fair".

All I know is that this woman starred in The Truth About Cats and Dogs and gets most of her "cred" from playing a reluctant Gap worker in Reality Bites.

Also, Air America is terrible.

The End.

Who is Jeanne Garofalo?  Is that like a combo of Jeanne Tripplehorn and Janeane Garofalo or something?
