Spot on about Robert Pollard.  I am always suspicious of the quality control of the overly prolific.
My particular animus against Radiohead is in part caused by the fact that nearly every person on the Internet loves them.  Meanwhile, their music is boring and unoriginal.  Remember when Perry Farrell released a drum and bass album?  Radiohead are a slightly more successful version of that.

Pretty much everybody in reality likes Radiohead. It's not like they're the Ron Paul of current music. Listen to OK Computer or Amnesiac a little more closely and tell me it's unoriginal.[/u]

I've listened to every Radiohead album [/glow] relatively closely, including the new one.  They're just awffrom above that you're directly
referencing and leave the rest of the thread out of the quoted section.  Like this:[/move]

I'm neutral on this matter, but, as you can see, I am pro-quoting.

I see your point, but I also see other points too.

Actually, when you scroll down quickly it looks really cool.

But not too quickly.  More like mid-speed.

Yeah, I see what you mean. The sidelinescome out at you. Not to get all mushy, but we all built that together. :'(

The quotes boxes are starting to look like something I saw at the Abstract Expressionism exhibit at the Met.

All right, gang. This is no time to get lazy. Do we want to bring this to an end or do we want the FOT on the horn with Guinness?

I call for a thread do-over.

TAPDANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure the curators at the Met haven't bought any Matthew Barney crap. That's more of a MOMA/Whitney/WAC sort of thing.
[/quote]

No, I meant Guinness sponsoring Barney because of his use of the Harp symbology (which I know is actually significant to the Irish and not a trademark, so don't get mad at me, black men of Britain).

I think it's getting too self-conscious.  Trying too hard now.  Too bad.

AND HARRY SHEARER'S GRAMMY NOMINATED CD

I seriously admire the persistence, Dave. Oh, and Matt, what does the new Mars Volta sound like? The last two records, I'm guessing?

Out of curiosity I visited Amazon's page for the Harry Shearer Grammy Nominated CD.

The reaction skews towards the not so hot.  So anyway dave, there are non-Tom reviews out there, for what it's worth.  Not the same thing, I know.
