No Show Tonight.

Iʻve been informed by the man himself that thereʻs a labor shortage at Consolidated Cardboard, so there will be no show tonight.

Arrrrrgh! Damn that crosstown beef with Allied Paper Mechanics. I hear Darren accidentally dropped a burrito into the Flexo Folder Gluer.

I am stuck at work tonight. And there is a Cypress Hill show where I work. So I'm kinda relieved to know that I'm not missing the Best Show for such an annoyance.

I wanted to call in and talk about yellow Starbursts. I stuff little Halloween bags with fun size candy for the trick-or-treaters. As I'm doing this, I realize how badly I want a pink Starburst. I went through 11 fun size Starbursts, and I did not find a single pink one. And then I felt kind of sad, you know, as a person. Also, I have TWELVE yellow Starbursts (out of 22!) that I have no intention of eating because they are horrible and awful and no one likes yellow Starbursts. Why do they even put the yellow ones in there? It seems like a real waste.

  no one likes yellow Starbursts.

I always thought it was just me. Glad to know that this is a universal truth.

I love yellow Starbursts.

I think it's the orange ones that no one eats. No one normal, anyway.

I think pink and yellow are the best Starburst. Orange is ok. I don't like red.

I have never had a Starburst, so I can contribute nothing to this exciting debate.  I feel so alienated.

The orange taste ok. The lemon taste like a household cleaner.
Although, I like lemons better than oranges. (the fruit)

In Britain, Starburst used to be called Opal Fruits. FACT.

While only tangentially Starburst-related...if you eat purple and yellow Skittles simultaneously, the combined flavor tastes like chocolate.

I don't think staying on point with this thread is an issue any longer.  In fact, I'm curious to see where else we can veer off the original topic.

So here is another thing Wikipedia sez about starbursts:

"In astronomy, starburst is a generic term to describe a region of space with an abnormally high rate of star formation. It is reserved for truly unusual objects.  For example, a very young open cluster can have fairly high star formation rates in its core, but this is an ordinary condition for this object. However, an entire galaxy experiencing the same star formation rate can be described as "starburst".  The Milky Way's Galactic Centre is expected to undergo a period of starburst in approximately 200 million years."

Now I'd say that will really be something to see, and I can't wait to see it.

Come on, people.  Everyone knows that red Starburst are the best.  That's science.

I like the yellow. All the others are too sweet. I guess the orange is ok. But lemon is where it's at for me.
