Actually, I offered Joanna Newsom a movie role. I stand by my earlier statement: I would rather listen to Joanna Newsom.

My Spike-ism: Putrid Haden.

Is my mind playing tricks on me, or was there a moment when Petra murmured something we couldn't hear at Fred Armisen, forcing him to apologize for the interruption to the ongoing interview? Am I nuts? Did that really happen?

i remember that too. and tom was saying something like: "I am not arguing with fred right now" to indicate that she was.
