I guess that one joins the ranks of other Newman cheer-uppers like "Real Emotional Girl", "God's Song" and "Old Man".

If I were to pick a happy Randy Newman song, it'd have to be "Simon Smith and the Amazing Dancing Bear". "They feed us, don't they?" is about as soft as he gets. (On his "real" records, anyway)
