I snuck watching Jem at my friends houses. And Lady Lovely Locks. My mom wouldn't let me watch TV unless it was PBS and then only on weekends. As a result, I am ravenous about pop culture now, to a disturbing degree.

I think it's "Lovely Lady Lumps."
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

it is a modern ode to female empowerment.

Bobo, is that Rutgers?  If it is, I teach in the building in the upper left of the photo.  If it's just a generic state u. area, well, then I'm just depressed.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

naw, that's outside Seattle Central Community College. Fun fact: Duff from Guns N Roses went there after the band broke up to study business!

And what did he use his degree for? Some company named Velvet Revolver.

He should be using it to strategically sell product to fiends in the pit or the towers.

Yep, generic state-college buildings, that's pretty depressing all right.  Though at least I've never had to teach English Comp to a member of Velvet Revolver.  On the other hand, it might be kind of interesting if I had to teach him the concept of Gramscian hegemony in that "Rebels" class.

At least you never had to be a student there. Class of 1993, represent!
