My guilty pleasure is teen comedies. Stupid, fun, exploitative comedies especially ones made in the 90's. Anybody with me?

I wrote a play in college called "Soft Rock High SchooL" that was my tribute to the teen comedies then in vogue: Can't Hardly Wait, 10 Things I Hate About You, etc.  I never was able to watch "She's All That" or whatever that movie was called.  I was in high school from 92-96, and there weren't any teen movies aside from Dazed and Confused, which I was always thankful for, because that movei literally taught jocks the lesson that they should be nicer to the weird kids and smoke more dope.  It worked out well for my high school dynamics.

I was in high school during the peak years of the exploitative teen comedy, 1995-1999. I feel bad for teens in the past 5-6 years. Their teen comedies have been pretty bad until Superbad finally broke the trend of awfulness.
