do you think there will be extensive coverage of the race once we start getting closer to november or something?  i was thinking maybe it would be some big event on the show during the presidential elections, and that instead of talking about any of that, they'd just talk about the mayubernatorial race.

also, i don't remember hearing some of these candidates...could someone point me in the right direction in the archive of the following:

-Darren and Chief from Consolidated Cardboard
- Thor from Eastbridge
- Bob
- Kurt Geistborn

Newbridge holds their elections in July.

I believe that Thor's candidacy was proclaimed by Darren in that same call.

well, if Julie thinks it's funny it must still be funny, although I had the distinct impression that the last candidate's mannerisms were completely making fun of Julie's tendency to say "...and stuff" and "....like" every other word...no offense, Julie.

Pudge Palfner was doin' his indecision far longer than Julie's been calling in.

Wow, I felt the same way! I thought I was a narcissist, but I'm glad to see that I'm not so self-centered after all. You made my day. Do I talk like that even when I'm not over drinking? That's something I'll have to work on.

The running for mayor thing is even funnier when I am expecting it.

as Samir said pudge is a caller that's been with the show for much longer than Julie

why don't you dig a little deeper in the archives before you start telling Tom when it's time to kill a bit and what their character's are?

gotta do your best show homework!

Thor called to declare his candidacy on 7/31/07.

The candidacy calls can't end until Zachary Brimstead throws him cummerbund into the ring.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I was so ready for that call to happen. I was a bit disappointed that Mr. Brimstead didn't perform anything from Enslaved's Below the Lights LP, but I suppose that's a small complaint.
