What seasonings do you put in? I don't think I've ever made an eggless batter.

(Good thing I'm listening to Seven Second Delay right now so I can answer immediately.)  Well, on Sunday I put in a little curry powder (inspired by something Gordon Ramsay recommended during the last episode of the English Kitchen Nightmares), some fresh thyme and winter savory (sage would be good, too), salt, pepper, and a trace of granulated onion and garlic.  You just mix the flour with the seasonings and add club soda (or beer) till the batter is the right consistency.  It's so much better than batter made with eggs!  Very light and very crispy.

Sounds good, I'll have to try that. My dad and I are talking about going ice fishing sometime in the next month so if we catch anything I'll use that recipe.

Now that I think of it I use an eggless batter all the time when I'm lazy and just use Shore Lunch.

"Shore Lunch"?  Never heard of it.

I am jealous of your fish-to-come.

Still sold in packages that make you think it's been on the shelf since 1972. It's sold at most big box grocery stores around here. It's actually really good for a fast breading. We use it at the cabin a lot for a fast lunch.

Aha.  I'm a breading snob (use only crumbs made from my own homemade bread), so I wouldn't have noticed it even if it were in my teeny, tiny grocery store (which it probably isn't).

My yummies.

I buy the Harvest version, which has less obnoxious packaging, but I just knocked off a few handfuls of those spicy, crunchy sinus-clearers.

These are my favorite wasabi peas:

Wow, i'm surprised that there's so much love for wasabi peas here! We'd eat those as kids at school back in the 70s and 80s, and they always grossed out our non-local classmates and teachers.

Nowadays, those things make me do the Bathroom Bop within 10 minutes of eating them

These are really fucking amazing. Lotsa crunchy pea-ness in every bite.

These are so incredibly hippie I'm almost ashamed to eat them (Vegan, gluten-free, wheat-free, organic cane juice, non-GMO, and preservative-free), but they're so good, I just cant stop!

More stuff that make me Beat on the Toilet Bowl, but I can seriously eat an entire can of these in one sitting:

Hawaiian Hurricane popcorn. Possibly one of the worst concoctions of ingredients that you can subject your temple of a body with (microwave buttered popcorn, mixed with japanese soysauce flavored rice crackers, sour-cream seasoning, and japanese Furikake seasoning), but GODDAMN, is it ever good! They now make Korean BBQ and Thai curry flavors, but the original "Hurricane" is still the best.

And as much as I hate to admit it, I just can't get enough of Spam musubi:

I wish I could try some of these, but apparantly they stopped making them.

I don't care what taquitos.net says, I bet these were damn tasty!

In high school, when I would have to stay hours after class everyday to work on our high school newspaper, I ate a lot of these:

And drank a lot of this:

Sadly, my taste in snacks is about the same, four years later. I go to a school full of tyrannical, organic-type foodies who make a point of telling me when something I'm eating is unhealthy, so at least part of me eats this kind of stuff out of spite.

Ok so I'm on somewhat of a diet so I can drop a little excess weight (nothing crazy) and I'm trying to eat some healthier snacks. I hear High Fiber and High Protein are good snacks to go with. (In addition to grapefruits which I seem to love laterly)

My new favorite thing are these RyKrisp Sesame crackers which are pretty large. I can eat 6 of them with that spreadable low fat cheese stuff and it's very tasty and also extremely high in fiber and other good stuff.

Also, believe it or not these things are really awesome. I don't usually like any of the "bars" that are so popular recently:
