Official congratulations thread.

Congratulations to Tom, and really congratulations to all the FOT and everyone who gave time and money to the cause.
I always remember the plea that Tom made one year, that as unique and special as WFMU is, the Best Show is unique and special within that framework. Did somebody say validation? This marathon has been amazing and Tom has every reason to be proud of the show and the community he has built, as do we.
Congratulations Tom, and thanks for all you do. Congratulations everybody, this board is a special place.

I'd like to personally thank everyone who pledged. You surpassed my wildest expectations. This is a remarkable radio show with an equally remarkable audience and I'm so proud to be a part of it.
See God, Kai

Killer show. I was on the edge of my orange crate for the entire thing. I was so amped-up, it took me hours to come down and finally fall asleep.

It felt good to be a small part of the night's success, and winning a prize-cozy prize just put me over the top. So much fun it completely took away the sting of losing money.

Bully for FMU and congratulations Tom. You can now leave for XM Satellite Radio, confident that you made your mark.

P.S. I love the T-shirt idea, although I hope wearing doesn't compel me to constantly explain the irony. I just know I'll be mortified when people assume I'm a Scarface fan.

Congratulations to everyone involved.  Hearing the pledge totals grow and grow with each marathon since I've been listening has been amazing and gratifying.  The show's early naysayers and critics are now on the losing side of history, as my hero Sean Hannity would say.

I couldn't listen live last night but I called my pledge in. I'm looking forward to hearing the antics on the podcast. I don't know if my pledge message was read but I dedicated my second pledge to Mike and Mel. Thanks guys!
