secular Jew,
Jesus,
I'm a parody of myself.

Add/move a few syllables around and you've got a hell of a pretty little haiku, there!
Now write me a receipt so I can tip on outta here...

EDIT: Maybe I should've checked the Marathon Map before I posted this.

It looks like every state except Wyoming represents.

I've spent a little bit of time in Wyoming.  Frankly, those people should have other priorities for their money than donating to WFMU.  Like, saving up to move out of Wyoming.

Wyoming has pulled through!  All 50 states are now represented as having donated to WFMU.

I told a friend who has worked for the local community station about WFMU-- which he had not heard of-- and its level of national and international support, and he was flabbergasted.

This has been bugging me, not because it's a particularly bad thing, but at one point during the show (1:42:00 on the podcast), they read a pledge from Brian from Brooklyn (just like me, named Brian and from Brooklyn): "Glad you liked my poster design, Tom"

Problem is, t'wasn't me. I don't know many FOTs personally, so I am utterly confused who or why someone would do this. Or maybe there's something I missed??

Askin' for clarity,
--BMW

I can explain this.  That was Brian Palmer, a friend of mine who Tom knows from AST and who has called the show before.  Tom mistakenly mentioned him as being the one responsible for the poster a few shows back (although he corrected himself on the air), so Brian P thought it would be a laugh to jokingly take credit where it wasn't due.  The problem was, I don't think they read his last name when reading his pledge, so the joke fell completely flat.  He didn't mean any offense, BMW - he's a big fan of your work, as am I!

Nice!  About fifty more of those and I've got a book deal.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

STROSZEK FOR LIFE

I swear I heard STROSZEK FOR LIFE.

I only regret that when I pledged I did not make my message "BRING BACK WOODSY!"

I regret that I didn't get to send a message with my pledge because my phone was sucky and I had to yell all my info at Associate Producer Mike.

I also regret that I did not pledge more, for now my profile has the word "Rapist" underneath it. Steve McQueen With a Skullface is much cooler.

That has nothing to do with your pledge, I just changed the titles you get for your post count.

I say slow your roll, TL. I think Steve McQueen with a Skull Face sounds the coolest. I might retire with it.

Not a bad idea, Forrest - I could definitely get used to being "Steve McQueen With a Skull Face."

Easier than getting used to being "honky lips."

Honky Lips is not in the same league as Rapist.

But I've just made Steve McQueen with a skullface, so I will never post again!!!

Oh wait.
