These are photos I took at Bumbershoot in 2006, of Tinkle's performance. The story is that they didn't have their actual show ready on this night, so Todd and David did standup, and then David and Jon Benjamin did a short sketch. They decided to end it by singing, "Let's Give Them Something To Talk About", and dry humping a random sap from the audience. It was very funny stuff, and I had great seats.
No joke, I was there for this show, and it was even more hilarious than it looks. Afterwards my friends and I were standing out back of the theater trying to figure out what to do next, when both Cross and Benjamin came out the back door with their girlfriends! All four of us were stammering (except for my exgf, as she was not a comedy nerd, hence the EX), but we still went up to say hi. My friend expressed how jealous he was that he wasn't picked for the raping, and Benjamin said he could still take care of that. We sort of hung out there talking to them for a bit and then left to watch something else, but that brief exchange will last forEVER in my mind.
Other comedians that day I just RAN INTO and actually got to exchange brief words with (in fucking Seattle of all places): Aziz Ansari, Doug Benson and Dana Gould. It was the single best comedy day in my entire life, as well.
