Picture I didn't take:

This weekend I was collecting eggs from a hen house.  Sliding my hand under the last hen in the row, I could feel the egg on my fingertips.  The hen turned and looked at me right in the eye.  Then she very deliberately rose up, taking her chicken foot, placing it on the egg. 

The look on her face was so good.  I hope when I am old/senile am able to tap into these little memories.

Yo, check out this super antisemitic costume I saw at the local Halloween superstore.  They're so bad I can't put them on my Facebook, because someone out there would think I approved of them rather than being amazed.





btw, I bought a costume of a bottle of mustard.  So I am going to dress as that.

Really?  I'm Jewish, and I could see the resemblance being accidental -- like, it's supposed to be a salty old pirate or prospector or something.  Now, if he had payes or tefellin or something, that's another story.

That's possible, though prospectors and pirates don't usually wear fedoras.  But this same store had a few other delightfully ethnic masks and an "Arab beard."
