I'm living in Portugal temporarily and have been visiting the beach a lot to watch the kite-surfers. Took this shot yesterday as two surfers nearly collided:

Ha! You might be right. I've noticed the last two times I've gone surfing (not that I go a lot) that kite-surfing has sort of taken over and regular surfing is almost passe. Maybe the same way skiing seems passe compared to snowboarding.

For a minute I thought about seeing if I somehow get one of those bumper cars out of there (I'll make it into some kind of 'art' project!), but I realized that it just wasn't practical. I've got too much crap as it is.
