"...put the meat on the pole, not on the plate."

I am flabbergasted.  Good show, TL!

Fruits and vegetables are stupid. They should go shop for a coffin.

Related to Diablo Cody, perhaps?

Are you arranging an Oregon tour now, TL?  I think, at the least, you need to check the place out to make sure they only serve vegan beer.

Don't drink, don't smoke, what do you do?

I was more interested in the mechanics of this spot. Is Fox news taking a cue from the Daily Show? The Fox News that I know would have told you how many blocks this place was from a public school.

"Shocking restuarant tries new gimmick for younger generation!"

No, !!! THREE !!! exclaimation points!

is that blonde seriously one of my vegetarian peers? ugh.

and yeah, that spot was weird. it was almost like a joke piece. i don't want to see newscasters gawking at a stripper.

She seems like a nice enough girl.

"...put the meat on the pole, not on the plate."

He sounds like he might be related to Patrick Warburton when he says that.

Too bad the pirate place closed down. That would've been the best spot for an awkward blind date ever.

Hey Teddy, turns out it's for sale.

Last week Mr. Diablo put the club up for sale, although not because of the criticism, he said. He may have underestimated the appeal of stripping to vegans, or of vegan cuisine to striptease fans; an earlier vegan restaurant he ran was poorly received.

Huh.  Guess I better book a show in Portland ASAP.
However I might feel about strip clubs, Mr. Diablo does seem like a bit of an FWD.
("a FWD?"  What's the way to go there - do you use "a" for "F" representing "factory," or do you use "an" to work with the pronunciation of the letter "F?" Anyone?  Sarah?)

"An" would be the way to go here.

That'll be two cents, please (it used to be a penny, or a golden sovereign, as my father called them when I was wee; inflation, you know).

It would be "an FWD."

By the way, if you are 'merkin it is "a historical," not "an historical."  Fake fancy news guys drive me up the wall!

However, I have always believed that it is very funny to say "an" when you should say "a," as in, "Give me an cookie."

Thanks - that was my instinct, but I over-thought it.
Too much more of doing that in my life, and I'll soon need to go shopping for an coffin.
