Wow. I'm here in NC, with fair plans set for next week (thank you, media parking pass from work) -- I think I might just have to give that a shot. Last year I had a fried Three Musketeers bar, but it was pretty underwhelming.
Didn't I see a commercial for Friday's that features their new deep-fried green beans?

Demartino, I will see you at the fair.  I tell everybody from the Triangle that they haven't really seen North Carolina till they've been to a State Fair.

Deep fried Snickers is the way to go - "Packed with Peanuts and Deep-Fried to Hell, Snickers Really Satisfies."  They also tell me that Deep Fried Twinkies are awfully good.

I heard that some fairs are offering Deep Fried Hamburgers at this point, which could be the food from the Gates of Heaven.  We'll see.

I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Oh man, I just learned that Lulu's Blue Plate Special in LA went out of business. Their deep fried twinkies were heavenly.
