as a non-man with a non-meaningful tattoo, i found this chart annoying.

but the real question is why does it have to be appropriate to show to children if it's not visible with clothes on? keep your clothes on, creep-o!!

I have a tattoo that I thought was funny and I totally regret it.  I probably would have gotten an Eraserhead tattoo when I was 16.  I probably would have gotten an MC Escher tattoo when I was 11.  The point is, you should probably wait until you're in your mid 30s to get a tattoo you won't outgrow.  Maybe early 40s, and preferably when you know you have a terminal disease.

Because of cartoons, I always thought as a kid that the heart and arrow with "Mom" in the middle was the only tattoo people were allowed to get.

In 1980, I had it all figured out, and I thought dfk circa 1975 was an idiot.

In 1985, I had it all figured out, and I thought dfk circa 1980 was an idiot.

In 1990, I had it all figured out, and I thought dfk circa 1985 was an idiot.

And so on.

It's purely personal opinion, but I am glad I never intentionally did anything permanent to my skin.

Seems air-tight to me.

I have an iPhone!  And some body odor.  Other than that, completely n/a.
