Very funny charts and graphs about outdoor music festivals of the Lollapalooza and Bonaroo variety in this weekend's New York Times.  I don't know how to place a link here, so go to nytimes.com and click the link for the item entitled "Rock! Sun! Crowds! You Go Without Me"

so, some of these charts are very clever/creative but most of them are just plain shit.

I guess that's the way of the world.

Do any of you play the online risk game, Lux? They have all sorts of cool maps on there.

Do you know if that drawing is by Kim Deitch (awesome underground cartoonist)? It looks like his style - especially the lettering. I didn't see a signature on it.

I really don't know but this is the blog I saw it on, you could ask there: http://strangemaps.wordpress.com/

Thanks for the link. It's not Kim Deitch, but Malachi Ward.

I'm becoming a crank, I suppose, but I should point out that I-40 goes to Wilmington, NC, which is more than 100 miles south and east of Raleigh.

Have I mentioned that I "have" a "beach" house in Wilmington?

Yes.  This is a point I bring up frequently.

Our state is also very clean and organized.

No, you haven't.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!
