I can't decide if my favourite Dwayne Johnson moment is:

a) When he punched Farooq in an overthrow of the Nation of Domination

or

b) When danced all sexy-like with Sarah Michelle Geller in front of his wife (!) Mandy Moore at the end of Southland Tales. Also, it was in a dirigible
"Son, there's a thin line between crazed and rabid"

How about when he had lunch with Tom Scharpling to discuss "unspecified film project"?

I liked when he sang oldies and showed us his softer side.

Like his personalized take on "Heartbreak Hotel" in the middle of a match with Mick Foley?

I'm more referring to when he was on SNL in 2000...he sang "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You" in this very croony, suave way (I think it was this song--unfortunately, because SNL is probably really strict about this stuff, there's nothing on youtube) He did it on a few other talk shows with other choice oldies, and the ladies started a-swooning.

My favorite part WILL be when the Robert and Judi Prokop Newman Alumni Center opens and I can step foot inside the Dany Garcia Johnson and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Living Room.

He's a member of my gym and has been spotted whaling on his pecs, though I've personally never seen him. No clue why he wouldn't invest in a personal gym of his own.

It was "Are You Lonesome Tonight", and it was pretty effin' awesome.

I know a guy who wrestled The Rock's dad in Samoa in the 70s.
I'm warning you with peace and love.

You know I don't like to talk about this.

It's OK, Chris L. Nobody blames you - you had no way of knowing that that was just a guy in a bear suit and not an actual bear. Any one of us would have done the same.

Thanks Pat! I have a clear memory of it now. I'm glad you were as affected by it as I was.

Oh well, at least that incident inspired a funny recurring bit on Conan years later.
