i thought so! i've seen them (him) a bunch of times. one time, in austin, he put a pipe at the front of the stage, and between every song, he'd remind the audience that we were welcome to come fill it with marijuana for him. no one did it, of course. but it was hilarious.

Was Eddie's Rookie of the Year title rescinded with the new regime's institution?

I can't imagine it was. Being named Rookie of the Year is an award (just like everything else in the year end award program), being named Supercaller is a privilege.

Damn, this gets worse by the minute. If this is the case, why the hell wasn't I considered for rookie if the year? At least then I would still have something other than this lousy (metaphorical) t-shirt.

Oh, Dave! I think being named a Supercaller is such an honor, even more than being named Rookie of the Year. Sorry if I sounded like I meant differently.
