When I got the box containing my swag, everything was in there except for a couple of back-ordered items and, ironically, my own Fun Pack.  I e-mailed FMU on the 21st and got a package yesterday.  Exceptional customer service, I thought.

Forrest, you should contact Joe McGasko.  He was very nice.

I finally got mine and I actually had my wife bring the Scar-Face shirt with her up to Connecticut.  Last night was live band karaoke, which was only partially as awful as it sounds (actually it was kind of fun), and I wore it while singing "Everlovin Man."

I think a couple of people noticed it but either assumed I was just unironically wearing a bad Scarface bootleg shirt, or were afraid to ask me what it was all about for fear of being rude.  Actually, a buddy of mine on the crew mentioned that some people were whispering about it.

I just talked to WFMU and they said that if you haven't received your swag yet its because they hate you on a personal level.

I wore the T-shirt to the bar this afternoon.  It earned a couple of quizzical looks, but its thunder was quickly stolen by the rogue fish box that floated down the channel when the tide turned.  That excitement caused a stir surpassed only by the furor my arthritic dogs created when they briefly escaped yesterday.

Lubec in summer:  a thrill a minute.

You can't see the band, and most of the shirt's hidden behind a music stand.  But the spirit of Mick Collins is giving my eyes an otherwordly glow.
