Somebody broke into my car last night. It looks like they threw rocks at it (there was a rock next to the car and one inside an a big dent in my door) and broke the passenger side window.

Here's the thing. They didn't take ANYTHING. I mean, I had CDs all over the car (a big case of them in the back) as well as spare change, a  jacket, a sweater, some camping crap (lantern, emergency kit, etc.) and they didn't take one thing. They even left my leather glasses case sitting right on the seat.

All they did was open my glove box. What the fuck were they looking for???

My car is full of sparkly green glass now. The sticky windshield kind.

Fucking criminals. Criming me while I sleep for no reason.

That is completely awful! Crime makes everyone feel bad. Maybe they thought you were someone else and hightailed it out of there when they saw the title to your car.

Yeah, the city doesn't matter. I've had a window smashed in two different areas- One shady and one nice area. There's always going to be punks that do it no matter how nice of an area you live in. One of those times some kids decided to stomp on 6-7 windshields in my apartment parking lot. They caught the kids, but their parents didn't have any money and I only had liability on the car so I got nothing.

in Philly I had my car broken in to one night, and some change and empty tape cases were stolen.

I got the window fixed that day. Next day, same window broken. Out of spite, I suppose, for my efficiency.

a while back, i lived on a pretty shady block in my late teens when i moved out.  i constantly left my window down, doors unlocked, and stereo in the dash overnite- nothing EVER touched. 

my mom lives on a nice, clean, white-bread street with condos and ive had my car broken into THREE times!



logistics doesnt seem to play a part.

That sucks.  Sorry. Erika.  And yeah, I had my car window broken in Weehawken, NJ, so it's no reflection on Ballmer.
