I make fun of this area a lot for all its various mutant behavior (like spelling "pulled" with an i), but I saw this on the news last night and it actually warmed my heart.

Then broke it.

So weird -- there was a kitten rescued from a pipe here in Miami. They had to shut down the power, dig up the pipe, cut into it. The kitty was fine, though, and got a new home. =^..^=

Edit: Oh noooo. I had to stop watching after they said it was too much for the little guy.

Yeah the end was sad, but it was really cool to see them go to such lengths to get the little guy out, and even covered in filth he was still super cute.

Plus it was awesome of the Roto-Rooter people to carry the costs of the operation, all things considered.
