Grrr... Anyone else having trouble accessing this?

I finally have a couple of free hours at the end of a night and I want to peruse ridiculous mp3s and read about stuff not usually read in Nebraska .....

*EDIT* Never mind. It's up again. Sorry to bother peeps.

I think the server was protesting those stupid "Archie Club News" posts.

Ha, I looked at this thread expecting somebody to be sticking up for the blog. In the back of my mind I was already formulating a response that cited "Archie Club news" as a prime example.

I like everything about the blog except actually reading it. It seems like a good idea.

I enjoy Ken's animated gif posts.

There's way too much kitsch on that blog for my taste.  Like Tom said, irony won't get you through the night.

I have found some of the greatest stuff on the FMU blog, but there's so much shit posted that I had to move it to my "if I have time" folder.
Breakfast- I'm havin' a time
Wheelies- I'm havin' a time
Headlocks- I'm havin' a time
Drunk Tank- not so much a time
George St.- I'm havin' a time
Brenda- I'm havin' a time
Bingo- I'm havin' a time
House Arrest- I'm still havin' a time

Wow, I guess I didn't realize people here don't like the blog!

I genuinely wanted to look at it.

I've found some great stuff there, too. I don't always read the posts and the hoo-haw, but I like the live performance mp3s & whatnot.

Ah well, I guess that's what makes me me and everyone else everyone else!

Yeah, I like the mp3s.  And most of Scott Williams' posts.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

I think it's endured more of a backlash than it deserves. The signal-to-noise ratio isn't any worse than, say, AST's - either of those requires a certain time commitment, which you're willing to make or you aren't. Jason (the man behind Chinatown) has compared it to the golden-era 'FMU message board (which I missed) and found it wanting, and that's his perogative. Doesn't have to make it any less entertaining for you.

I don't know, rotating between that, X-Entertainment and CartoonBrew, I maintain. Even in the eye of the kitsch.

I check it pretty often and just scroll past things that don't look interesting- I don't really have a problem with the stuff I don't like.
