Just picked up the new Ty Segall. I like it and I'm glad to have it and this is in no way a comment on the content itself, but Drag City's "no digital download with vinyl purchases" policy is strictly a chump move.

Couldn't agree more. In The Red does the same stupid thing.  Once you buy the vinyl, it's fair game to dl it from a blog if it doesn't come with an mp3 code.
