I'd add Jagermeister to the list. Red Bull too. I can't believe they mix those two in a drink. It must taste like licorice cough syrup.

It tastes exactly like a red sweet tart. It's gross.

Minute Maid's Cherry Limeade, also.

I like that cherry limeade! It's not something I want to drink all the time but it's really good. There's only a hint of cherry in it otherwise it just tastes like normal limeade which is always very sweet.

I was really tempted to try that this weekend but I couldn't imagine it being anything other than awful so I passed.

I drank some.

It's greasy.

My girlfriend's Vietnamese grandma is very into natural remedies. She's always trying to get me to drink artichoke juice and I finally relented. Worst thing ever, pretty much what I imagine drinking a piping hot glass of piss would taste like.

It is awful, and I love it.

Bloody Mary. Coffee (don't judge).

I'm with you on both Martin. I will never get how people can drink Bloody Marys. I tried mixing one a week ago just to see if I might like it now. It's like drinking ketchup.

It really does depend who makes it. Generally I agree with you, but I had one at a bar in Youngstown, Ohio (don't ask) and it was one of the best things I've ever tasted. I wish I had that guy's recipe.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Re coffee: I've hated the taste of coffee since I was a kid. I believe I can trace it back to when I was sick once and ate coffee-flavored ice cream. From that day on, I associate it with throwing up, and cringe at the taste - can't even eat chocolate with coffee in it, or have a coffee-flavored drink.

BUT: a couple of weeks ago I tried my first espresso. Not bad! (Cue coffee aficionados: it's not the same thing/flavor. I know! That's what I like about it!)

It could have been the novelty of being able to wander the streets with it, but I had a delightful bloody mary in New Orleans.
