So Spike has been allegedly banned until he reaches OLD AGE. Tom really wants him to appear on the show.

DO IT!

Oh, god. The whole thing about Pete Seeger is one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

"'Froggy Went a-Courtin'?' That's the product of a sick mind!"

"If he had a hammer, he'd hand it to the handyman at Harvard and tell him to fix the radiator."

GOLD.

I enjoyed David Rees's indigence when Tom was berating "Froggy Went a-Courtin" ... "Whuh ... That's a good song!!"

Just caught it now, on the second listen.

Furst, talking about the film "The Police", and it's sequel, "Sting".
That's just the tip of the ice cube.

The guy who Tom asked if he had invented the phone he was using - the sound was really scary. Despite the noise, his voice was louder than Tom! It sounded like a wiretap recording that's been enhanced for use in a documentary film.

Kevin Smith as Prefontaine was so funny. Just picturing him in a track uniform running competitively had me laughing so much.

The best was when I heard my wife's voice come over the speakers at the 700 Club, while chatting/listening to the show.  I had no idea she was going to call and give a shout out or anything, and I suddenly said "that sounds like my wife!".

She asked me a bunch of times how she did, and as far as I can tell she did fine.  Better than I'd probably do anyway.

Tom's thought on how great it would be if Jeter's 3,000th hit came off of a line drive that hit the pitcher.

Tom trying to prompt the Philly audience to pants me.

. Someone get Nick Offerman a Globe/Emmy/People's Choice award for his portrayal of Ron Swanson on Parks & Recreation please.

How on earth did this not happen?
