Kudos on this week's podcast
« on: November 21, 2006, 10:09:32 AM »
Posting a classic show was a completely bad-assed decision. Thanks!

I would love to see the old show archive made podcastable and available. Set up a paypal account I'd donate to encourage the Tom Podcast Archive!

Thanks, Fun times, Liquid Brooklyn is my hero.

One love,

R

Did the .xml file change for the podcast feed? iTunes is no longer updating my subscription.

My iTunes didn't encounter this problem. I'm feeling the groove right now.

As i listened to that show again, it blows me away just how perfect that episode was.

Begins with a solid PBR call, then the amazing DJ Clue/Liquid Brooklyn set, then bookended with the Party Doctor. The trifecta of Best Show "professionals".

Add to the fact that the callers were really entertaining as well, and you got yourself a massive, visible-from-space "W", even though it's a 4 year old W.

It's interesting how there's a marked difference in the type of callers that Tom got in 2002 vs. 2006. I miss the 2002 callers, to tell you the truth.

Very cool idea. Thank you.

As I'm still catching up on the 4-5 years of Best Show I missed out on, I'd definitely be willing to pay for a podcasting of more classic episodes.

Solid episode all around, but for me the highlight was right at the end of the show with Tom schooling those 13 year old kids on how their best laid plans for high school will ultimately fail. They way they kept coming back for more while Tom consistently shot down their weak bluster was a thing of beauty.

No other host but Tom could possibly put down kids so harshly and still come out smelling like a rose.

To have all of the archive available for podcast would be amazingly wonderful.  I love listening to the show at work, people think I'm giggling at their jokes and it makes them feel good!

my first complaint is that we had to wait so long for this weeks podcast, and my second complaint is that all of the archives aren't available in podcast form.  Please tell me where to send a check to get the coming faster.
