Here let me help you with this:
1. Pig Lib Crooked Rain Crooked Rain
2. Face The Truth Wowie Zowie
3. Stephen Malkmus (would've been 2. if not for some dumb lyrics) Brighten The Corners
4. Real Emotional Trash (I think he TRIED to make this album bad) Slanted and Enchanted
WHEW! Ok. Better!

You cheated. Also, switch 1. and 4.
Having Slanted 4th is a complete travesty of justice. Having Crooked Rain 4th is not much better. I thought the general consensus on Pavement was near unanimous. First 2 albums - top shelf, with a battle for supremacy. 3rd is the dividing line -- some prefer it to those previous, some see it as the beginning of the end. And the last two were at best also-rans, at worst disgracing their predecessors.
(Is there a thread here discussing artists whose later (awful/ repetitive / profoundly disappointing / otherwise problematic ) work has caused you to retrospectively re-evaluate the merit of the earlier creations?)
