For all those that need some comedic healing...
My friends from college have been trying to hit it big out in L.A. and I really think they deserve to. Anyway, one of their comedic incarnations/performance groups is called Tracy, Dean, & Jesus, a garage band fronted by a televangelist from the sticks of SW Ohio, and they're doing a free show at the Comedy Central Stage in Santa Monica, CA on Sept. 9. He is famous for combat the inner demons of Jimmy Kimmel. They also usually do a regular gig at El Cid.
Anyway, the guy behind it all is Andre Hyland (a mastermind in my opinion) who does music videos for Anticon, comedy sketches, and lots of performance oriented stuff. If you've ever seen the late night comedy thing called Stupidface on Fuse, you've prolly seen his work as Hollywood go-getter Tim Hutchins.
He has plenty of videos on youtube and his own sites under "Blond Chili"... check it.
