Favorite Capitol Bands

I'm probably going to go with The Beatles (a kind of skiffle/"beat" band), Beach Boys (surf rock, but get this, they didn't really surf), and David Bowie (a kind of glamish pop sound, though warning, he gets a little weird, which is why they keep him under this experimental imprint EMI).

There's this band called 'Radio Head' that just got dropped from Capitol.  I like them because they sound like Pink Floyd, but I don't like their new weird techno stuff.  It kind of hurts my ears.

I've been getting into this obscure 50s singer, Frank Sinatra. There's all these neat string and horn arrangements behind him - kind of like Sufjan Stevens with more swing. Can we get a Rhino reissue for this guy?

Obviously there's only one answer to this question:

I do enjoy some of the early, skiffle-oriented stuff of the Beatles ... but like Mr. Bowie, they got a little too weird for me. Some guy singing about how he's a walrus??? What the hell is that about?

OK, right off the bat: Cannonball Adderly. Then you've got your Heart, and you've got your Jay-Z and your MC Hammer, although most of that rapper music all sounds the same to me anyway. (They're not even singing, they're just talking!) That's what I call a stacked roster.
I'm warning you with peace and love.

They're doing a collabo! Shit's gonna be hot! The working title is "Can't Touch the Barracuda 'til ya Give it 2 Me".

Cold Play.

I'm not familiar with them, really.  I had to look it up.  Honestly.
