I read through some of those stories about injuries at concerts and I don't get why they included stories about bands being injured? I thought they were interested in negligent injuries for concertgoers.

It's also not surprising that 90% of those happened at concerts where the fans are all meatheads (Korn, Limp Bizkit, Disturbed, Tool, Fall Out Boy, etc).

This kind of reminds me of when Drew Bledsoe stage dived and injured a woman at an Everclear concert (the fact that that sentence is now dated makes me feel really old).  The combination of all the rich potential defendants made it a nice target for personal injury lawyers 10 years ago... I guess that laid the groundwork for ambulance chasers to get in the pit.
