It's not like Tom gets in front of the microphone and thinks to himself "golly it's neato to be on the radio! and with my natural wit and humor I don't need to prepare anything!"

I think Shut Up, Weirdo is so terrible because I could do a better job without planning anything. And, just in case you think I am, I am not bragging. They should be ashamed. Tom's show is consistently funny because he knows what he's doing. He's a pro.

I decided to listen to one of their shows while doing something else.  I am 20 minutes in and it's not compelling.  Which show did you prank?  Also, approx time of prank?

There were some good calls during last week's show. Just listen to the whole thing. I think it's better if the suspense is building.

I do like Andy a lot more though, Frangry just doesn't seem like she wants to be there or something, or is really into it at all.

I had another curious listen; it's honestly not a bad show but Frangry's blog/youth/club/lifestyle references are nauseating. They had some decent callers. It'd be nice if they'd play ball with the Best Show a bit but hey, whatever.

that show is dogshit.  the only good callers were goofing on them and they didn't even pick up on it.

Just listened to the archive of the inaugural episode of "shut up, weirdo" (against my better judgment) and I have to say that a) julie definitely deserved to be banned from the best show and b) she was probably the best part of that first episode.  Take that for what it's worth.
