Tom...the Buddha?

Yo I was researching Buddhism for an essay and found out theres supposed to be another important buddha figure in the future. Then i saw a sculpture of the Buddha's head.

Doesn't it look like Tommy? He might be the Buddha. and look at these descriptions.

  • He has a voice like that of Brahma.
  • He has an immense torso, like that of a lion
  • He has eyelashes like an ox
  • He has the demeanor of a great man.
  • His body emanates a halo of light extending around him for two meters.

see?

Come on, Jason

This whole time I've been worshiping Buddha and I just thought it was a D.J. at a high school radio station. :o

The Four Noble Truths:

1. Life means suffering.

2. The origin of suffering is attachment.

3. The cessation of suffering is attainable.

4. The music of Tom Waits is terrible.

That's uncanny! It's like a painting from a movie where a characters ancestor is depicted as the same actor, just in period appropriate dress.

5. Respect must be paid to Ernie Anastos

hehe

I walked into the crappy diner/pizza joint across the street from my place that I almost never go to, and what was there but a picture of Ernie Anastos shaking hands with the owners? I think every bona fide Greek diner in town has one of those things.

Holy cannoli that Buddha looks like Tom. I can't get over it.
