I wonder what Joe Paterno would think if he ever found this page.

That story was the pinnacle of an overall classic best show episode. Thanks Jckinnick & neilnumberman for sharing this here!

"What a great group," obviously.

Or, as a somewhat longer shot, "Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe!"

Good catch, B_B.  The answer: she was roused out of bed by her husband!  "NO!!  We need to go NOW!  The kids are already dressed!  Let's do this!"  What an incredible image.

Sounds like a deleted scene from The Great Santini.

Why is Mom still in her pajamas?

Is anyone else experiencing retina strain from all that stone washed denim?

My mom is mortified by those pants.  We are all horrified by that pic.  One of my favorite parts is Joe Paterno's awkward arm reach around my little brother in the front.

Thanks for sharing the incredible story and picture CathWO!

I'm pretty sure I had a denim jacket exactly like your little brother's.

Help, I'm being oppressed.

You're not being oppressed, Trembling Eagle. But I don't feel like turning this into some thread where we're going to discuss the personal appearance of someone who was gracious enough to allow this picture to be posted here.

Since you're so gung ho on talking about how I look and how she might look as an adult, when are we going to see the pictures of you?

Tom.

Yes!  And his left hand is making a weird claw-like gesture.  And why is he titling to the left?  Wind?  Uneven legs?

I meant "repressed".

I best leave the comedy to the pro's.

Because he's old..

And yes this is one of the funniest things I've heard/seen in a while.
He's this soulless bastard from Siberia. I once saw him shove Fred Savage's face in a toilet.
