What's your karaoke specialty?
« on: December 31, 2008, 06:49:20 PM »
One of the last times I was at a karaoke bar I picked Aha's Take On Me.  Fortunately for everyone, I left before my number was called because I don't have the chops for that.
I've had some success with Sloop John B.  I'm using the word "success" loosely here.
Tonight I think I'm ready to try "I've Got Friends in Low Places" by Garth Brooks.

I can even do it without seeing the words.

The Letter by the Box Tops.
Sounds like someone was working as a conduit for nature's natural vengeance.  Just like Jesus.  And some of the others.

this is how you remind me by nickelback

if i have a good co-singer, i would do anything for love but i won't do that.

if i find 'toxicity' by system of a down on a karaoke machine, i'd like to tackle that one.

Holy cow, that Real Life song is from the BMX movie, Rad.  I seriously have to ask you guys for permission to use some of these songs in my rep. [repertoire].  I'm going to turn into a karaoke nerd that hangs out in airport hotel karaoke lounges and has his own backup instrumentals in a fannypack.

I pretty much killed "Since U Been Gone". That's probably the best I've ever done solo. The best duet I did (Easy Lover) was my first karaoke experience and we pretty much killed that.

I don't mess around. I'm hoping to one day find a machine with Young Turks. That's the one song I've wanted to sing for a LONG time.
He's this soulless bastard from Siberia. I once saw him shove Fred Savage's face in a toilet.
