I'm not Fredericks, but I will say that his MIND Thing is well worth checking out. I recommend the Metaphors and Mathematics episode; it's good stuff.

The additional quote might be unnecessary, but oh well.

Watched DW3 last night before going out to see Thee Oh Sees ring in the New Year in grand style. A pretty swell New Year's Eve.

As seems to be standard protocol lately, they opened with Contraption/Soul Desert; it was pretty much one punch in the face (metaphorically speaking) in a row after that. Lots of folks dancing and going bananas, which is both unusual for and great to see at a San Francisco show.

There were even a few posters up for the 2012 Bruise Cruise. This year's lineup looks fantastic. I salute anyone who makes the trip, it should be incredible.

Speaking of posters... someone made some nice silkscreened posters for the show:

I usually don't mess with posters and whatnot, but it being New Years and the show being so good I figured why not...

I am gearing up to find an elusive "'Friday Only' street cleaning" parking spot in my neighborhood.

Meaning you get that spot and only have to move your car for street cleaning on Friday.
