Since everyone loves lists, what is the single greatest Best Show episode, and why?

My personal favorite is 10/4/05, in which Tom plays Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety. That show had it all.

June 3rd, 2008.  The debut of "The World Is In The Turlet" was the most euphoric radio moment I've ever experienced.

Start to finish, the show had a good premise, strong calls, TLRX, and a deadline to add just the right amount of pressure.  It was just brilliant.

I'm going to go old school and say May 6th, 2003.  In fact, there was a run of about 3 shows there that were just unbelievable.
Breakfast- I'm havin' a time
Wheelies- I'm havin' a time
Headlocks- I'm havin' a time
Drunk Tank- not so much a time
George St.- I'm havin' a time
Brenda- I'm havin' a time
Bingo- I'm havin' a time
House Arrest- I'm still havin' a time

I know this borders on the completely insane and/or kneejerk, but last week's show is a top candidate for me. It is rivaled, however, by the 10/3/06 episode where Tom calls PC Richard and marvels at their hold music. His rendition of their jingle where he sings about his shoplifting technique never, ever fails to make me laugh.

I agree that the P.C. Richard segment is one of the best of all time, but I give half the credit to the brilliant, unknown P.C. Richard hold music composer.

The PC Richard show also has Petey doing his best impersonation of a Jim Cramer caller. That one was a classic.

I'm a pretty big fan of the 10/23/07 show with PFT. It's a good goto show for me when I need a bump, or try to lure in new listeners. Commercials that should be movies is the topic, and then Tom and Paul Vs Kid Rock's Rolling Stone article is amazing.

There was a streak in '06 though where Tom declared several shows L's that I thought were pretty amazing too. Those kind of mutant caller L's are some of my favorites.

DON'T MAKE ME PICK A FAVORITE!

I have only been listening for about 6 months, so small frame of reference, but I think the first show of 2009 was dyn-O-MITE.  Non-stop laughs.

That one is pretty special.  I have to tip my hat to the one from February '06 that they were using as a sample show for a while with Rick from Albany and Tom's railing of the Poster children's podcast.  I heard that one when I could still listen live in NY and was pretty blown away.

Rick in Albany is a Top 5 Moment fer me.

No one suggested July 11 2006?  That goddamn show was so chock-full, they took down the archive.  PBR, Judge Davies, Mauling of Tourgasm, A call from Ted... man-o-man
