STEVIE BLUE (BLEU???)
« on: January 31, 2009, 05:49:00 AM »
I was listening to the Stevie Blue saga all over again and I was wondering what ever happened to him. I tried searching him on google but to no avail. For some reason I though of trying the stretch possibility of "stevie bleu". Could it be that simple?

This was the first thing to come up

Hey!

MY status is also "complicated," and I don't like "big fat droopy butts," either.

This guy needs to quit biting my stylee.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

I've been listening for 2 years straight, but have NOW started working my way through all the episodes.  Where does the Stevie Blew Saga fall in the arc?
Well it's been a long time since I've had my favorite drink

He shows up shortly after the Sirius debacle. I think it might actually be the very next episode after Tom's depressive crawl-back/triumphant bounce-back episode.

September 20, 2005: The Debut Of Stevie Blue, And Bryce Calls In And Answers Some Grateful Dead Trivia For The Fine Listeners. | Listen

Stevie Blue is when I started listening regularly. I can recall my friend and colleague Mark Riddles discussing him the next day: "that guy's a real catch" and sent me a clip of his favorite moment: Stevie choking on his own spit and Tom mockingly mimicking it. It was a moment I completely missed when I listened to it the first time around and it destroyed me:

Jesus. I could actually LOOK at the archives, huh, instead of willy-nilly picking one?

Sorry about that.  And thank you!

I only wish I had been able to have "Love Thing" played at my wedding, and that said wedding took place on a Saturday night.

There was another link to an incomprehensible Stevie Blue statement awhile back - does anyone have that link?
