I really do not want to step on anybody's toes here by pointing out how wrong they are because it is probably just an innocent matter of their not having actually heard this, THE ABSOLUTE WINNER of Worst Song Ever:

Agreed

Worst song ever?

!!Life is a Highway, I wanna RIDE it ALL NIGHT LONG!!

And I definitely agree about Nickleback (shudder), and will throw in Spin Doctors, and that song "Been around the world and Iyayaya, I can't find my baby..."

+ Agree w/ Hotel California

I knew someone would post "Life is a highway", but I have to respectfully disagree

I came to the conclusion that "life is a highway" could easily be the ending credits song for every movie ever made, and it would fit in perfectly

This is one of my contributions. I saw this video on tv when I was young and was so happy to find it on youtube

I think brokeNCYDE gets points for pure comedic value.

Local pop music is an easy target, but these young men are just awful:

Spot the subtle double entendres, if you can.
That said, I of course cannot help but cast my dumbfounded vote for brokeNCYDE.

Wow, that Pierre Nadeau song was really bad, even kinda stands out for me on this list.

I was just remembering how one time one of my best friends selected a bunch of songs on the jukebox in a diner where we were having dinner. The theme of the songs was: songs I hated. A carefully compiled list of songs that I despise. I can only remember a few of them:

"I've Been to Paradise" (mentioned above)
"Kokomo" by The Beach Boys
something by the Eagles, probably "Take It Easy"
There was probably some Billy Joel in there too.

I thought it was hilarious.

Think I gotta go with that Kid Rock travesty All Summer Long. Just typing it makes me want to die so I can forget it exists.

Pussycat Dolls' "When I Grow Up" is definitely up there.

"All Summer Long" came on at the gym the other day.  I've never been so close to walking out on a work-out in my life.  And I am very lazy.

This song is so Goddamn bad. It angers me. Who ever in all the planes of existence thought that hip hop, a vocoder and scream-o would work together?

I also think it's hilarious how the one guy keeps screaming in the girls' face "Let's Gooooo" or something equally dumb.
If honesty changed the hearts of men, who could contend? If all I thought were true, in this great divide that is my life, I fear to think of all that I'd undo, if all i thought were true.

And yeah B4-4 is horrible, too. When someone said that two of the guys have a new CD out, I started to laugh. (I dunno, are they Steven and Chris, or something?)
And Steve in North Hollywood, I totally agree. If I was doing max reps of two plates benching and that piano riff came on, first, I would wait to see if it was Werewolves of London (because the aaa-oooo part is fun), but whence I find out it isn't, I would definitely be tempted to just leave. That's why I neeeeed an iPod to work out.

as someone who inexplicably likes both hip hop and screamo this shit is especially offensive to my ears.

Exactly, I could work out to Werewolves of London or Sweet Home Alabama, if necessary.  But Kid Rock should be thrown into the middle of a belt-whippin' match for what he did to those songs.

I love how he spent the early part of his career trying to prove how "urban" he is.  And now, he's just playing to his audience and pretending he had nothing better to do as a kid but hang out on the lake, boating and throwing keggers.

Make up your mind, you munch!

If he hadn't served our country in the National Guard, I'd ... Oh wait, he DIDN'T!!!
