Love The Show and A Favor To Ask
« on: February 14, 2009, 01:56:39 PM »
A friend of mine turned me on to the show in October or so last year and I've been a fan ever since.  Tom and Jon's calls are always hilarious.

Does anybody remember which episode had the "I've literally been in 1,000 fights" story?  Loved it.

I'm also wondering if any of you would be willing to help me reach my goal of raising $350 for Special Olympics Wisconsin?  I have only $65 to go!  I, along with thousands of others, will be taking the "Polar Plunge" into Lake Monona in Madison, WI next Saturday, the 21st.  I'm hoping not to die.

If you're interested in giving, please visit my Plunge page:

https://www.specialolympicswisconsin.org/pp09/pledge.asp?ID_p=2103

Even $5 would help a ton!

Thanks, everybody!

I understand where you are coming from McPhee, but reaching the first goal WAS a win!  The second (or third or fourth) goals are just gravy, and failure to reach those goals does not mean a loss.    Better to keep trying for donations then to stand pat several days before and say 'good enough'

I'm sorry, my bad!  Sometimes I take things too literally.  It's pretty apparent you were kidding when I read it now, now I look like a humorless stiff.

Well done!  If you wear a Newbridge shirt next year I will quintuple my admittedly meager pledge!  And even buy the shirt for you!

And by Verona students it's Verona WI, just outside of Madison WI - On Wisconsin!
