The new episode of BEST SHOW GEMS is all about spankathons. Newbridge super celeb Reggie Monroe calls up to talk about his participation in the hit television show 'Survivor'.

Nice.  After the Ploppletons, the Monroes are my favorite Newbridge family.

(Phil Monroe is Reggie's brother and was "the TV star with a rock star swagger."  Phil's son was the "Drunk Driver" call.)

If I tried, I could probably make at least six figures for shaking my moneymaker.

"Whitewalling my hand."

For some reason I thought Reggie got kicked off of SURVIVOR for killing a guy, but I assume either I'm mistaken or the full story was revealed in another epiosde.

I'm pretty sure it was just him having a pant rummage

Thus the unfair aspect of it.

They put on shows where I live. I figure they ripped off this name.

It shouldn't matter to me at all, but Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage were not involved with Wrestlemania 14.  Wrestlemania is a WWF event and they were both in WCW at the time.
This week's Best Show Gem is still great despite that error.

Accuracy in all things, frederrixxxxx.

Didn't ee cummings have something to say on that subject?

Further, Macho and Hulk have a long standing real life non wrestling feud, going as far as Macho including a Hulk diss track on the rap album he did that came out around 2002/3. For real.

Really enjoyed the gem. I know they're good when they have me laughing when I'm walking to work

You could tell they were really feeling it on this one, language-wise.

Also, "Vance Asimov."  I love it.

The Wrestlemania XIV line bumped me, too.  I wrote it off as Tompkins being an idiot.
