This week's Gem is great and Wurster's first call is maybe one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

Aww man, I think the second call edged it. Wurster's creepy old man voice and the death threats at the end.

Was that H. Jon Benjamin as Chip/Ken at the start?

Andrew Earles. He also calls in, in the early stages of the show, as Tom's brother's sort-of friend Kevin, Skag Winesack, the hardboiled detective, and the Depressed Office Worker, among others.  You're in for multiple treats with those calls.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

In respect of this weeks Gem, a question for Omar or Martin:

Is this the first time the final season/final episode of Archie Bunker's Place comes up?

My memory is not great. I think there was a separate discussion of the final episode of All In The Family which was maybe before this?

Anyone got a clear timeline on this?

I'm pretty sure this was the first mention.

I will forever pronounce "mozzarella" in a full Italian accent from now on.

I now do the same with "cos-mooz".

Yes! The Pout Hallowe'en special!

(Though, how come Party for Peace was omitted from the Gem?)

The Creature is extremely litigious.

Just listened to the Jeep Cherokee Wilson call. "That's my harpoon...glistening in the moonlight." I was crying.

Does anyone know how it would be possible to put older BSGs on an ipod and such? I've noticed that itunes only keeps the last 50 or so.
It is entirely possible that I am just a dummy.

We're all champing at the bit to get the older episodes, sounds like wheels are in motion per other threads... 8)
