I'm just finishing up the PFT episode, and I'm happy that there are so many other interviews to listen to as well. But I'm writing mainly to report that I have seen Bon Cop, Bad Cop, Margaret's Museum, Jesus of Montreal (I think that was on the list), Les Boys, Men with Brooms. Also seen: Lost and Delirious (blah), Cronenbergs galore, several Atom Egoyans, 32 Short Films About Glenn Gould (of course), Last Night (loved it), Kissed, The Hanging Garden, Cube, Waydowntown (another fave), Guinevere, Les Invasions Barbares, Ginger Snaps, Fire, Mon Oncle Antoine (which features one of my favorite examples of Canadian French ever: "Hey, Pa, un case de beans!"), and a gazillion more. True, I haven't yet seen New Waterford Girl, but I've still got Mr. Tompkins beat to hell. My forebears really should never have left Canada.
This self-indulgent post prompts me to ask whether you have any way of getting hold of a recording of The Rubber Gun, amiright? I asked if anyone on this board had a copy of this movie a while back, to no avail. Maybe I'll have more luck this time.
